PROJECTED FUTURES

An Abstraction of Encounters at the End of the World

The antarctic divers dive into the ocean and find themselves in a whole new dimension of a timeless space floating into a cathedral of ice

Experiments with Led in Water

The liquidation of the tin allows us to manipulate the structure of the tin when it is poured into cold water, solidifying the second it touches the water.
The dive of the material into water creates an abstraction of the diver's jump from above the ice and into the underwater dimensions

Prototypes of mechanizing the experiments of led in water

Plan of the mechanized experiment of melting the led by heating up a pan and afterwards dropping the led into cold water which solidifies the led

Details of Mechanism
Every detail is developed from found elements,
transformed into water tank, dispenser, flipping pan
and the wheel that if you turn it starts the machine.

Installation
The perception of a timelessness within the space

Under Water World
Each element represents it's own perception of time
Together they create a sense of timelessness,
which changes the solid form under water every time the
wheel has turned one round.

The solidification of wax and tin in the water tank creates an unforeseeable
structure that is unique. With every turn of the wheel this structure changes.
It is an attempt to capture time in solid form.
